NOUVELLE VAGUE
Nouvelle Vague, our global music partner, is led by music producers Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux. An innovative collective of talented artists, Nouvelle Vague features a rolling cast of popular musicians. The group’s music pays homage to the swooping elegance of Bossa Nova, the melancholic melodies of the “New Wave” era and 1960’s French cinema, providing a modern twist on the classics.
In addition to the uniquely curated 24-hour soundtrack, Nouvelle Vague brought to life performances at Le Méridien locations globally, including Denver, Rome, Istanbul, and Barcelona.
PARIS AFTER DARK
Inspired by the seductive City of Light – the birthplace of Le Méridien– Paris After Dark puts a modern twist on French classics. This evocative late-night series starred Nouvelle Vague grande dames Elodie Frégé and Zula. Each performance was concepted, choreographed and styled by Charlie Le Mindu and Zula, and featured eccentric costumes, elaborate lighting and tantalizing vocals. It premiered at Le Royal Méridien Shanghai and traveled to Paris and Vienna.
